Bower Studios
Bower Studios is a New York–based design studio founded in 2013 by Danny Giannella and Tammer Hijazi. The studio produces contemporary furniture, lighting, and objects, with a focus on material exploration and form-driven design. Giannella and Hijazi approach their work through an experimental process, drawing inspiration from a wide range of sources, including natural forms, everyday objects, and visual patterns. Their designs often reinterpret familiar references into new functional applications, resulting in pieces that emphasize geometry, reflection, and spatial interaction. Mirrors in particular have become a central element of their practice, used to explore perception and dimensionality. Bower Studios’ work has been exhibited internationally and recognized within the design community, including being named to Sight Unseen’s American Design Hot List. Their objects are produced in small batches and carried by design retailers, reflecting a balance between studio experimentation and contemporary production.
