Mark Sanders
Mark Sanders is a British industrial designer and engineer known for developing innovative, user-focused products across mobility, consumer goods, and medical design. He studied engineering at the University of Cambridge before completing a master’s degree in industrial design engineering at the Royal College of Art. Sanders is the founder of MAS Design Products, a London-based consultancy through which he has developed award-winning designs for international clients. He is widely recognized for co-inventing the Strida folding bicycle, a compact, belt-driven bicycle designed for urban commuting, which has been exhibited in major museum collections including the Museum of Modern Art in New York. His work spans a range of industries and emphasizes functional innovation, manufacturability, and clarity of use. Sanders has received numerous design awards, including IDEA and Red Dot honors, and continues to contribute to both commercial and experimental design projects.
